Programme area
A broad field of work, such as community health or health-system strengthening, that brings related priorities together.
An integrated approach to equitable health, connecting communities, evidence, care and stronger systems.

01Care across the continuum from adolescence through pregnancy, birth and early childhood
02Building demand, trust and protection against preventable disease
03Communities as owners and drivers of their own health outcomes
04Generating the evidence that makes programmes work and proving what works
05Stronger services, stronger institutions, stronger collaboration
The five programme areas provide a structure for planning. The intervention and activity counts describe the strategic framework; they are not counts of completed projects or achieved health outcomes.
